We Got Camp? Do You?

School’s Out for Summer!

Kids are counting down to the last day of school which is Tuesday June 13th in the Council Rock School District.  For some children they already know that they will be joining Northampton Parks and Recreation for summer camp.  Others still don’t know what they will be doing. Don’t let them miss out.  Few opening s remain for Camp Explore, the half day 7 week camp for children in first thru sixth grade and in Little Discoverer’s Camp for children ages 3 – 5 both held at Hillcrest Elementary School.  Limited spots are also available in the award winning Teen Summit Camp, a program designed to keep those children going in 9th grade occupied at least 5 weeks of the summer. These Township Signature camps start the week of June 26th.

For the families that prefer to have the children participate in camps that are held weekly, Parks and Recreation offers a variety of programs throughout the summer.  Camps start the week of June 19th.   From sports, science, engineering, and computer to dance, art, theater and academics there is something scheduled for everyone.  Don’t miss out.  More information on the camp programs available online at www.northamptonrec.com or can be obtained by calling the office at 215-357-6800 ext. 249.
