TRAFFIC ALERT: Temporary Road Closure – New Road at Holly Knoll Drive

Northampton Township advises motorists of a temporary road closure on New Road near the intersection of Holly Knoll Drive on Monday, October 19, 2026, as part of the ongoing water main installation project for the Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority (NBCMA).

DOLI Construction and its subcontractor, L&M Zimmerman, will be installing water main piping across New Road from the Tom Adams parking lot into Holly Knoll Drive.

Road Closure Details

• Date: Monday, October 19, 2026

• Start Time: Approximately 9:00 AM, following morning rush hour and school traffic

• Estimated Duration: 2–3 hours

• Location: New Road at Holly Knoll Drive

Traffic Detour

Temporary signage and flaggers will be in place to redirect traffic away from the New Road/Holly Knoll Drive intersection.

Motorists will be directed to use Fairhill Drive, Windsor Drive, and Second Street Pike to access New Road in either direction.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the closure.

Motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time, follow posted detour signs, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
