Due to the forecasted extreme temperatures, Casella Waste Systems (formerly Whitetail Disposal), Northampton Township's contracted trash hauler, will begin residential trash collection at 5:00 AM beginning Wednesday, July 15, and continuing through the remainder of the week.
To ensure your trash is collected, please place your Township-issued trash cart at the curb after 6:00 PM the evening before your scheduled collection day. Collection times may vary, and routes may begin earlier than normal to protect the health and safety of sanitation workers during the excessive heat.
Please note: Trucks will not be sent back to neighborhoods for carts that are placed at the curb after the collection vehicle has already serviced the area. Residents are responsible for having their trash properly set out before collection begins.
