Northampton Township is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Department Administrative Assistant. This Full-Time (37.5 hours), hourly position provides administrative support to the Public Works Department.

Some Responsibilities include:

  • Performs various office tasks to support the Public Works Department
  • Maintain employee attendance, time off tracking and payroll
  • Maintain work orders and asset management in TRAISR
  • Answering phones, responding to emails, and providing general office support
  • Coordinate, review, and maintain various bids and contracts (Salt, Fuel, Paving, etc.)
  • Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent field of study preferred
  • At least five (5) years of secretarial and administrative support work with a background in accounting working experience
  • Experience in a public administration setting preferred
