The health and safety of Northampton Township residents, our employees and our families has always driven our decision-making process through the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the rise in new cases in Bucks County and throughout the region over the past week, the Township has made the decision to update the mask policy.
According to CDC guidelines, Bucks County has been deemed an area of substantial spread of the Covid-19 Delta variant. A substantial designation means the county has reached 50-99.99 new cases per 100,000 persons in the past 7 days.
As a result, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, please be advised of the following protocols:
- It is recommended that visitors need to wear a mask in public indoor places, if you are NOT fully vaccinated, when entering ANY Township facilities or attending ANY Township Meetings, including the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board
The Township will continue to monitor transmission levels. If Bucks County reaches HIGH TRANSMISSION status, additional protocols may be implemented including mandating masks and limiting the number of people in meeting rooms.
