Budget

On November 19, 2025, The Township Administration presented the 2026 preliminary budget at the public Board of Supervisors meeting. The budget documents and presentation explain how the Township allocates its funds for public safety, infrastructure projects, community programs, and other essential services. These resources reflect the Township's commitment to maintaining a high quality of life for its residents while ensuring fiscal responsibility.

The 2026 Preliminary Budget proposes a 2.75 mill real estate tax increase to support expanded emergency services and public safety. For a home assessed at the Township median value of $40,000, the 2026 real estate tax bill will increase by $110 for a total or $1,410 per year, or $117 per month.

As required by the Second Class Township Code, the Board of Supervisors is to adopt a Preliminary Budget and advertise its availability for public inspection for a period of 20 days.  The budget may be adopted at any time after the 20-day period but must be adopted by December 31 each year.

A physical copy of the budget is also available for public review at the Administration Building located at 55 Township Road, Richboro, PA through December 10, 2025, at which time, the Board of Supervisors will consider final adoption at the December 10, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting.
