Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad (THRS) is the primary provider of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for Northampton Township.  THRS provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency ambulance service 24 hours a day to nearly 74,000 residents within a 40 square mile territory.

Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad offers an annual resident subscription program.  Most insurance plans, including Medicare, do not cover 100% of the costs for ambulance services.  Participation in this program ensures that you will not be responsible for paying the high out-of-pocket costs associated with 9-1-1 emergency ambulance services provided by THRS. Up to five medical assists per year are also included in your membership.  Please note that the subscription covers out-of-pocket expenses not covered by your insurance company, but does not include amounts due as part of an insurance deductible.
