HOW TO PREPARE RECYCLABLES
The suggested methods to prepare recyclable material differ from one program to another. For information on your particular program, call your hauler or municipal building.

DROP-OFF RECYCLING
DELAWARE VALLEY SCRAP. Bristol Township, Route 13 at Edgely Rd, 215-949-1191. Open: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm; Sat. 7:30-11:30am. Buys all ferrous and nonferrous metals. Accepts cardboard.

FRANKLIN METALS, 839 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, 215-245-5763. Open: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm; Sat, 8am - noon. Buys all nonferrous metals, aluminum beverage cans, lead acid batteries.

FIVE STAR PRINTER REPAIR. 7230 New Falls Rd, Levitown, PA 19055, 215-949-2472. Open: 8am - 4pm Sat. by appointment. Accepts: Empty toner cartridges for ink and laser printers. Pay cash for qualifying empties.

USED OIL AND ANTIFREEZE COLLECTION
Improper disposal of used motor oil and antifreeze pollutes water, kills wildlife and damages crops. If you change your own motor oil or antifreeze, please recycle the used oil and antifreeze at one of the following collection stations BUT PLEASE REMEMBER, NEVER MIX OTHER LIQUIDS (i.e. insecticides, herbicides, paint thinners or any other liquid) INTO THE MOTOR OIL OR ANTIFREEZE, and do not leave any containers at the drop-off site; take them home to use again. Service stations with a (T) after their names also accept automobile tires; those with (LB) accept lead acid car batteries and those with (F) accept oil filters. PLEASE CALL FIRST; THERE MAY BE A SMALL FEE.

COMPOSTING
For information on the leaf and yard waste program in your community, contact your municipal building. For information on backyard composting, contact the Bucks County Recycling Coordinator at 215-345-3400.

HOW TO DISPOSE OF LATEX PAINT
To dispose of latex paint cans, leave the tops off and let paint harden. Crack the hardened paint and throw out with regular trash. Replace lids on the cans and put out with recyclable. If it takes too long to allow the paint to harden, simply mix the paint with about four cups of an absorbent suck as clay-based kitty litter. After the paint is no longer liquid, wrap it in newspaper and throw out with regular trash. For Oil-based paint, see "Hazardous Household Waste" below.

HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOLD WASTE and OLD COMPUTERS
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collections are held throughout the year in Bucks County at various locations. You can obtain a schedule of remaining collection events by calling the PADEP hotline at 1-800-346-4242 or by calling the Bucks County Planning Commission at 215-345-3400.

AIR CONDITIONERS, REFRIGERATORS
Items containing Freon cannot be thrown out with other trash. Air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers will be picked up for no additional charge by J.P. Mascaro in Lower and Upper Southampton and Northampton. A pick-up date must be scheduled by calling J.P. Mascaro at 1-800-432-1616. The doors of refrigerators and freezers need to be removed. Waste Automation will remove the main refrigeration unitwhen a resident schedules an appointment. Residents may also take these appliances to the following locations:
