The District Court serving Northampton Township is located at the Northampton Township complex on Township Road in Richboro. It was established to address the majority of civil and criminal matters arising within the Council Rock School District area.

You may file a civil action for money owed, for losses you suffered form someone else's actions, to collect for services rendered and to settle contract disputes. Civil actions are limited to $8,000.

Criminal complaints may be instituted by anyone against anyone, If the court finds adequate grounds for the action. All motor vehicle citations provide the option to request a hearing at the District Court.

Other services available are marriage license applications, wedding services (during office hours) and conferences by appointment to discuss these and other available functions of the Court. It is your court so feel free to visit or call. All hearings are open to the public. Office hours are 8:15 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Phone (215) 322-0144.
