Mr. Palestina presented the Navy flag to Andrew's mother Donna, who then presented it to her son.
Since Michael was not able to attend the meetings, his mother Shirley was presented the flag by Mr. Palestina on her son's behalf.

Mr. Palestina welcomes home Navy Master at Arms Stephen Emerson and returned his Navy flag. Stephen, shown here with his mother Harriette, father Robert and sister Julie, is currently on leave and just came back from Iraq.

Mr. Palestina presents Margaret and Jim Bodkin with their son, Michael Bodkin's, flag for the 2nd time.Lt. Col. Michael Bodkin has been in Iraq a couple times. He is now at 29 Palms, CA and asked that Mom and Dad come to get his flag back.

Mr. Kinney asks Maureen McKenna to give this flag back to her son. Army Sgt. Tom McKenna was discharged in late 2003 and now lives in Bristol.
Mr. Kinney asks Joan Weiss to give this flag back to her son. Army Sgt. Saul Weiss now lives in Levittown and was wounded while in Iraq.

Mr. Kinney presents Major Hunt's flag to Mike Burger. Major Hunt is currently assigned to the Pentagon and his family moved to North Carolina two years ago.
Mr. Long presents Captain Sproesser's flag to Mr. Albano. Tony Albano is standing in for Army Captain Eric Sproesser. Eric now lives in Maple Shade, NJ and after separation from Army active duty, he enrolled in the NJ National Gaurd and will be attending Airbourne School at Ft. Benning, GA.
Mr. Komelasky presents Master Sgt. Capinas's flag to his mother, June. June Capinas is representing her son, Air Force Master Sgt. Paul Capinas. Paul was in Iraq in May 2003 and returned home in June 2004. He's been serving in Guam the last 3 years.
Mr. Deon presents Shawn's flag to Mrs. Heenan. Bernadette Heenan is representing Air Force Staff Sgt. Shawn Meyer. Shawn now lives in Bedminster and is doing well adjusting to his new life and is working very hard to finish his engineering degree.
Frank Young Jr.'s Army flag had previously been placed in his honor in the Township's display at the public meeting of March 22, 2006. At the November 8th meeting Supervisor Pete Palestina presented Young Jr.with his Army flag after replacing it in the display with an American flag.
At the Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, October 25th, Supervisor Pete Palestina (far left) stands with three Northampton soldiers (center) who served in Iraq. From left to right are PFC Matthew Devlin, PFC Michael Potts and Sgt. Michael Pinciotti. Devlin and Potts were presented their respective military flags now that they are stationed back in the United States. Pinciotti, on a 20-day leave at the time, will receive his flag when his second tour in Iraq is over.
