NORTHAMPTON PROCLAMATION

IN RECOGNITION OF COUNCIL ROCK NORTHAMPTON LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM

WHEREAS, The Distinguised Citizen Award was established by the Board of Supervisors on January 2, 2001, to acknowledge an outstanding Northampton Township resident or group; and WHEREAS, the Council Rock Northampton Little League Team have been chosen by the Board of Supervisors to receive the award for September 2007; and WHEREAS the Coucil Rock Northampton Little League Team have proven their commitment to teamwork by winning the 2007 Little League State Championship and; WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors wishes to commend these players on their hard-work and dedication and recognize each of the team members and coaches as outstanding citizens in the Northampton community and; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of Northampton Township hereby recognizes and congratulates the Council Rock Northampton Little League Team as "Distinguished Citizens" of Northampton Township.
