"By August 30, 1913, the fire company purchased the old school house in the middle of Richboro. The first floor would be used to store apparatus - the horse drawn chassis mounting a hand pumper The second floor would still be used for elementary school during the week, and meeting rooms at night or weekends."

"In 1964, there were 104 calls answered, including 3 barns, 10 houses, a school, and one airplane."

"In 1999, there were 623 calls, including 11 "ground effect air boat" rescues during hurricane "Floyd." (During that storm, the volunteers were out most of the day and night, responding to fires, fallen trees across roads, exposed electric wires, closing roads because of flooding of the Neshaminy, and rescuing people from their homes or cars."
