"Addsville, named after Amos Addis, and Richboro or Leedomville were really one village, lying less than one-half mile apart along the Richborough Turnpike. There were over 25 houses, 2 churches, the Dutch Reformed and the Methodist, a school, store, blacksmith and other mechanics, doctors, and two old inns - everything one needed." "Richboro, today, has become the largest village in the township, with banks, shopping centers, a post office, and service stations to supply the needs of many new housing developments in the area. Being the geographic center of Northamtpon, Richboro is the seat of the township government, police, and fire protection." "By 1890, Churchville had a school, a country store, several blacksmiths, a toll house, a new creamery, and a hay press for bailing hay. For all the new homes today, Churchville remains a charming village, and is the only town in the community registered on the Bucks County Historical Register." "Because so many of the Dutch settled in the Rocksville area, it was often called New Holland. By naming the post office "Holland" in 1870's, the village gradually assumed the name." For
