Basin and Open Space Maintenance

The Township owns over 800 acres of public grounds. It is the task of the Public Works and Park and Recreation Departments to keep these areas as safe and clean as possible. It is a very large job that needs the help of all the residents that use any of these facilities. The Public Works Department tries its' best to keep the basins to a manageable height. Sometimes the weather conditions dictate what can be done, but rest assured that every effort is made to make Northampton as beautiful a community as it can. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in policing areas that might become littered and we would just like to remind our pet lovers to dispose of any sanitary waste in the proper manner.
