Fire Prevention Week is a busy time of the year for the office of the Fire Marshal.

Although we recommend that you think fire safety all year long, it's the one week a year where we get a little assistance from the media with our message.

Fire Prevention week coincides with the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire in 1871.

This year, Fire Prevention week will begin on October 9th, and end on October 15th.

The National theme for this year's event is Protect Your Family From Fire.

Join us Friday, October 14, 2011 for our Open House!
Visit any of the following fire houses between 6:30p.m. - 9:00p.m.:
Station 3 - 50 Newtown Richboro Road, Richboro
Station 73 - 451 East Holland Road, Holland
Station 83 - 283 Hatboro Road, Churchville

As in past years, the Fire Marshal's office assisted by members of the Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company will be visiting schools, day care centers, and other community facilities to deliver our fire safety message.
