DISTINGUISHED CITIZENS

NORTHAMPTON
PROCLAMATION

        WHEREAS, The Distinguished Citizen Award was established by the Board of Supervisors on January 2, 2001, to acknowledge an outstanding Northampton Township resident; and

WHEREAS, WARREN and GAIL HOGELAND, have been chosen by the Board of Supervisors to receive the award for the first quarter of the year 2005; and

WHEREAS, Warren and Gail have been long time residents of Northampton Township, where they have raised their families, and served our community in many ways; Gail, always a smiling face at the voting poles; and Warren, a former police lieutenant with Northampton Township, now serving as the District Justice for District Court No. 07201; and

WHEREAS, Warren and Gail, owners of Hogeland's Corner Grill off Second Street Pike in the Richboro Shopping Plaza, this past Thanksgiving decided to hold their holiday family gathering at the Grill and graciouslyopened their doors to anyone in need of food or companionship and provided a wonderful holiday dinner to more than fifty appreciative people.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors and the citizens of Northampton Township hereby recognize and honor WARREN & GAIL HOGELAND as "DISTINGUISHED CITIZENS."

PRESENTED this 26TH day of January, 2005.
