"February 28, 2007 Flag Presentations"

     Three more Northampton soldiers were honored at the February 28, 2007 Northampton Supervisors meeting. Army Sgt. Joseph Dinan, USMC Lance Corporal William O'Hara who are serving in Iraq had their personalized military flag placed in the display. Army Lt. Kelly Turley had her flag returned to her mom and her Army flag was replaced in the display with an American flag. The Marine Corps League's Patriot Detachment headquartered in Richboro was on hand for the ceremony.

Dinan and O'Hara were the 42nd and 43rd Northampton resident serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lt. Turley's Flag was initially placed by mom Judy Boone with Supervisor George Komelasky at the 3/8/06 Supervisors meeting.

Then on 2/28/07 Komelasky returned the flag to Kelly's mom as Kelly was now at Ft. Polk, LA and could not be at the meeting
.

On 2/28/07 Supervisor Jim Kinney hands Army flag to Sgt. Dinan's mom Kathleen.



On 2/28/07 Supervisor Palestina presented a USMC flag to Lance Corporal William O'Hara's mom
Rita.



On 2/28/07 Supervisor Jim Kinney joins Rita and Kathleen in the placement of the flag into the display.

During the ceremony Supervisors Chairman Palestina praised the troops and offered well wishes.
