CITIZEN OF THE MONTH


NORTHAMPTON

PROCLAMATION

   
    
 WHEREAS, The Citizen of the Month Award was established by the Board of Supervisors on January 2, 2001, to acknowledge an outstanding Northampton Township resident; and

WHEREAS, BRAD A. RAUDENBUSH, has been chosen by the Board of Supervisors to receive the award for December in the year 2004; and

WHEREAS, Brad, a resident of Holland and a 2001 graduate of Council Rock High School where he was a member of the Track Team and the Suburban Championship Relay Team; and was beginning his senior year at Temple University studying Criminal Justice when his unit of the U.S. Army Reserves, 1st Brigade, 111th Infantry Battalion was activated; and

WHEREAS, Brad, presently serving in Iraq, north of Bagdad, in addition to his military duties has initiated a humanitarian effort to make our community more aware of the needs of the Iraqi people in the devastated areas where his battalion is stationed, and to bring the concern and support of the American people to these distressed areas by collecting and distributing sandals to the Iraqi children, and thereby hoping to instill trust and good will.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors and the citizens of Northampton Township hereby recognize and honor BRAD A. RAUDENBUSH as “CITIZEN OF THE MONTH”.
